PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Phase II – Replacement of Heating Units
Phase Two of the Philadelphia Detention Center Project included the demolition and removal of out dated heating units that were placed in the bathrooms of the dormitories where the inmates are housed. After this scope was scope was completed new energy efficient units were installed in these existing areas. The major scopes performed during this phase included plumbing, electrical, mechanical, demolition, carpentry, masonry and painting. Following this the new units were framed and there facades were re-plastered. This new plaster work was then painted to match the existing uniformly. Milestone created and coordinated the project schedule with its sub contractors and the owner to a maintain a time sensitive aggressive schedule.
