PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Existing Building Renovation and Addition
Penrose Playground located at 1101 W. Susquehanna Avenue Philadelphia, Pa. The project included the demolition of the low west section of the existing building and the construction of a new 2,225 square foot addition in place of the demolished section, but extending further west to the line of the fence currently bounding the swimming pool area. The new addition now includes both a boys and girls bathroom, a new Directors Office, a Multi-Purpose Room, Mechanical Room and Storage Closets. The existing portion of the building was renovated with the removal of extraneous elements, new doors, repainting and new finished. Existing blocked up windows opening were opened with new windows installed.Milestone created and coordinated the project schedule with its subcontractors and the owner to maintain an aggressive schedule.
